Nesting and Excitement!

I am definately in that "weeks before delivery" mode. I have been nesting for several weeks now (I am actually a "natural nester"), but Joe says it is getting more intense. Today I cleaned out closets. My stuff has been spread amongst the 4 bedroom closets (well, 3, since Maddie took hers over) and I have finally decided to weed out a GREAT deal of my stuff, so that it all fits into one closet (that Joe and I share). This is the first time in our married life, I think, that we live in the same closet. I filled about 6 boxes of old clothes...well, not old, but clothes that I pretend I will fit into again someday...I am looking for a place to donate them where they will be given to women who need them...and not sold.

I am going to tackle little boys room tomorrow. His closet is pretty well together, clothes washed and hung, but there are still remnants of other items all over his floor.

We ordered bedding for his room and it should be here by Saturday...it is so cute and I cannot wait to see it in person. We are buying a crib and dresser from a guy that Joe works with to complete his room. Joe will start painting soon--I hope! I love to see it all come together!

I have spent the entire summer going through our house and organizing and now I am feeling like I am on the home stretch...which is good, I suppose, as I am sure my time will be limited soon.

**Excitement**we are going to a concert this weekend and staying in a hotel and going out for a nice dinner! It will be our last big "night out" before the little guy comes! I am already dreading the thought of leaving Maddie overnight. I cannot stand to be away from her, especially at night. But, it will be great for Joe and I to have some time together! I am excited for the concert!
