...until our due date!
My little boy is due to arrive on September 30th! We shall see how that all plays out. Maddie was a week late and had to be induced.
I saw the dr. yesterday for my weekly check-up. She thought immediately that he was in the breech position. She left the room for me to change and came back to do an ultrasound to double-check. I prayed the whole time she was gone. Delivery with Maddie was the best experience of my life...and I did not want to have to have a C-section, automatically. Anyhow, she came back in and began the ultrasound and immediately said "I was wrong!" Our little guy is in the perfect position for birth! I got to see him wave and move around. I saw his ears, feet, knees, his head, and his little booty! It was amazing to see an almost full-term baby through ultrasound!
The dr. said that his lungs look completely developed and he looks perfect! I am so thrilled and now just cannot wait to meet him! It is amazing to think that he could be here next week...or next month. I am not holding my breath that he will come early.
From what I know, my mom was 12 days late with me and had a VERY long labor. She was one day early with my brother and had another LONG labor he, in fact, was delivered via C-section because his shoulder got stuck, after a LONG labor! It will be interesting to see if mine compares to hers...
Whatever the case, God is so good! I cannot believe I am going to have 2 little ones soon!

Aren't ultrasounds just totally amazing and wonderful??! I'm so thankful your little man looks healthy and is in the perfect position to be born. Now you just pray and rest and wait for God's perfect timing, right?
Our A was breech and I was scheduled for a version to try and turn him (at term) when my OB took a look via u/s and found that he had flipped on his own and I never felt a thing! How he could manage that when it was so crowded in there, I'll never know, except that I think it was a God thing. :-) His delivery was a VBAC, and though things didn't go exactly the way I'd hoped, he was safely born and it was *his* birth story and therefore unique and wonderful. Praying for you and your little man!
