A new baby...

...these days. Jackson has totally become a new baby. I took him to the dr. last Tuesday because his crying was getting worse, longer, and more severe. She had put him on acid reflux medicine prior to that and it just seemed to not be working. Well, she increased his dose because he had gained so much weight that the dose he was on was not nearly enough to help (he is 12 and 1/2lbs now!). We noticed a difference within 2 days. He is MUCH more content...he still gets fussy, but it is not nearly as bad as it was...he is so much easier to calm down and he is able to lay and be happy...I am SOOO excited! I feel so badly that I did not take him in sooner...it appears that he was just having a lot of reflux. Anyways, he is such a joy to be around these days...AND...he slept through the night last night (8:30pm-6:30am)--just one night shy of 8 weeks old!

What a beautiful picture of you and Jackson!! I'm glad he's less fussy and sleeping longer at night. Whoo-hooo! Go Jack!

celebrating with you that he got the help he needed. and yes, that pic of him on dedication day is SOOOOOO incredibly precious!!
